Rosh Hashanah grocery list: the simanim, the dinner, and the stuff you forget
The list I copy every year and delete half of. Clone it into a shopping list and it sorts itself by aisle, then rings when you get to the store.
Big trash bags
Apples (something crisp, like Pink Lady or Gala)
Pomegranates
Medjool dates
Beets
Leeks
Pumpkin or butternut squash
Carrots
Black-eyed peas or green beans
Onions and garlic
Lemons
Oranges (for the honey cake)

A fish head or a whole fish (order ahead)

Honey: one big jar, one small one as a gift
