Lists
Hold an item, and everything you need is right there
Hold an item for a small sheet where you edit it, set a reminder or delete it. A short swipe gives you the same shortcuts, and for a new item you can just type when: “tomorrow at 9”.
Version 1.5.147
What's new
Three quick ways to deal with an item, without opening a whole screen:
- Hold it. A small sheet opens over your list: edit the text right there, set a reminder in one tap under “Remind me” (including when you arrive somewhere), change the amount, scan a document, or delete it. Close the sheet and the change is saved, with an “Undo” in case you change your mind.
- Swipe it a little. The row slides over and three round buttons show up: “Remind”, “Edit” and “Delete”. Swipe all the way to delete, and undo if you didn't mean it.
- Just type when. Type “Call grandma tomorrow at 6pm” in the add box and “Reminder: Tomorrow 18:00” shows up above it. Add it, and the item lands as “Call grandma” with the reminder set. Don't want the reminder? Tap the ×.
Why it matters
Setting a reminder on one item used to take five taps on a separate screen, and most people never found the long press at all. Now it's one tap, and sometimes zero: you just type when.
How to use it
- Open a list and hold an item, or swipe it a little to the side.
- Pick Remind, Edit or Delete.
- For a new item, write the time in words: “tomorrow”, “tonight”, “on Tuesday at 9”, “in an hour”. A plain number, like “2 lbs”, never counts as a time.
Reminders are free. Repeats, alarm mode and keep-reminding live under “More options”.
