Lists
More list, less clutter
One slim bar on top, checked items folded into one row you can put back or clear from, and an add box that can sit at the bottom, near your thumb.
Version 1.5.147
What's new
- One slim bar on top. The list name (tap it to switch lists), how many are left, a thin progress line for today, and next to them the bell, settings and Justy. The big header and the floating bar are gone, and the mic and Justy's fill button moved inside the add box. You simply see a lot more items.
- Checked items fold away. On a shopping list, what you check off folds into one row: “7 checked · Put back or clear”. Tap it to open “Checked (7)”: “Put back” one item, “Put all back”, or “Clear all”, with undo. What comes back most is first.
- One row or under the line. In each list's settings (the gear), under checked items, pick “One row” or “Under the line, struck through”. For this list or for all your lists, and everyone on a shared list picks their own.
- The add box near your thumb. If you're new, it's already at the bottom. If you've used the app before, you'll get a one-time offer to try it, and you can always switch in Settings with “Add box at the top”.
- Suggestions when you want them. Justy's suggestions show up while you type or when the list is almost empty, and if they're not for you, you can hide them on that list.
Why it matters
On a typical shared shopping list, the list itself got less than half the screen. The rest was headers, buttons and bars. Now you see what you came for, and everything else is one tap away.
How to use it
- Open a list and check things off as usual.
- Tap the “checked” row to put items back on the list or clear them.
- Prefer checked items under the line, or the add box on top? Use the list's gear, or Settings.
All free. Want the whole household on one list? See How do I put checked items back on my list? and the shared grocery list guide.
