Who brings what

How do I track who is coming to a weekly class or game?

Set a Who's Coming event to repeat weekly in Just List. The same link works every week, each round starts with fresh answers, and your guest list carries over. Free, no app for guests.

How to do it

  1. Create the event

Create an event with "Who's coming (RSVPs)" on, or tell Justy "five-a-side every Tuesday at 8pm".

  2. Set it to repeat

Choose weekly, or every few days. Pick the day and time.

  3. Share the link once

Post it in the group once. The same link is used for every round.

  4. Check the numbers each week

Each round opens with fresh answers. Your guest list and settings stay, so you see who is in and who has not answered.

Create a Who's Coming event, set it to repeat weekly, and share the link once. The same link works every week, each round starts with fresh answers, and your guest list and settings carry over. Players answer in the browser with no app, and you see the headcount before you book the court.

The problem

Every week the same message: "Who's in Tuesday?" Then the same thumbs-up, the same two people who answer at the last minute, and you doing the math again.

How it works

  1. Create the event and switch on "Who's coming (RSVPs)".
  2. Set the repeat: weekly, or every few days.
  3. Share the link in the group once.
  4. Each week, check the totals. Add a capacity if you only have room for a set number of players.

Good for

Classes, pick-up games, rehearsals, study groups, club meetings. Anything with the same people showing up on a rhythm.

Want people to bring something, like drinks or equipment? Add "Things to bring" to the same event (it then counts as a regular event toward your active events). See how to organize who brings what. The basics are in how to collect RSVPs from a WhatsApp group.

What's free and what's Plus

Who's Coming is free: no Plus needed, and no limit on answers or repeats. Guests never need an app or an account.

FAQ

Do I have to send a new link every week?

No. The same link works for every round, and each round starts with fresh answers.

Do I have to rebuild the guest list?

No. The guest list and your settings carry over from round to round.

Can I cap the number of players?

Yes. Set a capacity, and once it is reached, Coming is closed. Otherwise there is no limit.

Can I remind people who forgot to answer?

With a guest list, a "Haven't answered yet" section has a button that opens WhatsApp with a ready message.

Do players need the app?

No. They answer in the browser, with no account.
