Who brings what

For hosts: full control over who brings what

Hosts can now remove a guest's claim and get a notification for every claimed item. Events you've joined show up in the app, and for guests, claiming got simpler and sturdier.

Version 1.5.135

What's new

For the host:

  • Remove a guest's claim from any item. The guest gets a notice, so nobody shows up with a salad you no longer need.
  • Get a notification for every claimed item, so you know what's covered as it happens. Too much? Mute each event separately.
  • Events you've joined appear in the events strip on the app's home screen, and you can hide the ones you're done with.

For guests, claiming is sturdier:

  • Fix your name in one tap.
  • A double tap no longer claims the same item twice.
  • A link to a different event opens straight to the right one.

Event lists have no item limit on any plan.

Why it matters

Hosts need to know what's missing without chasing messages in the group chat. Guests just want to claim something and get on with their day.

How to use it

  1. Open your event and go to event management.
  2. To remove a claim, pick the item and remove the person who claimed it.
  3. Too many notifications? Mute just that event, and the rest keep you posted.

Setting up an event from scratch? It's all in the who brings what guide.
