How do I organize an office party where everyone brings something?
Type one sentence at justlistapp.com/en/justy, drop the link in the team chat, and coworkers tap what they're bringing. No app, no account, no spreadsheet to chase.
How to do it
Type one sentence
Go to justlistapp.com/en/justy and write something like "team lunch for 15 on Friday". Justy drafts the list.
Post the link in the team chat
Share it in Slack, Teams, WhatsApp or email. It's a normal link, so it goes anywhere.
Coworkers claim an item
Each person opens the link, sees what's still needed and taps what they're bringing. No sign-in, no install.
Check the list before the day
Gaps are visible at a glance, so you know whether to order extra drinks or a dessert.
Type one sentence at justlistapp.com/en/justy, like "team lunch for 15 on Friday", and post the link in your team chat. Coworkers tap what they're bringing from a browser, with no app and no account, and you see what's covered and what's missing without chasing anyone.
The problem
The office party email thread: "I can do chips!" "Me too!" "Wait, who has the drinks?" Somebody keeps a spreadsheet, half the team never opens it, and on the day there are three cakes and no cups.
How it works
- One sentence and Justy drafts a who-brings-what list.
- One link in the team chat or email.
- One tap per person to claim an item. Taken items are marked for everyone.
Good for
Team lunches, farewell parties, "just because" Fridays, welcome events for new hires, and the recurring kitchen-fridge birthday cake.
Headcount too
If you also need to know who's coming, add "Who's coming (RSVPs)" to the same event (on the web and in the Android app). Guests answer, then claim. See How do I collect RSVPs from a WhatsApp group?, which works the same way in any chat.
Already started a list?
Don't retype it. The guide How to turn a sign-up sheet into an event takes about a minute. For the full walkthrough, see the who-brings-what guide.
What's free and what's Plus
Coworkers never pay or sign up. Event lists have no item limit on any plan. A free account can have up to 10 active events; Plus makes that unlimited.

Do coworkers need to install anything or make an account?
No. The link opens in any browser, on a work laptop or a phone.
Our sign-up is already half done in a spreadsheet. Can we keep it?
Yes. Import an xlsx or csv file, a Google Sheets link or a pasted list, and the names already on it stay. See the guide on turning a sign-up sheet into an event.
Can I also see who is coming?
Yes. Switch on "Who's coming (RSVPs)" in the same event (on the web and in the Android app), so people answer first and then pick what to bring.
What if someone signs up for the wrong thing?
In the app, the organizer can remove any claim, and can let the person know if they have notifications on.
Is there an item limit?
No. Event lists have no item limit on any plan.
Just List (justlistapp.com) is a list and reminders app for iOS, Android and web where Justy the fox writes your list from one sentence, guests claim what they bring from a link with no app or account, shared lists sync live, and reminders ring where you are.
