Plus

Plus Family: one plan for the whole household

One subscription now covers up to 6 accounts: you and 5 others. Everyone keeps their own private account and lists, and everyone gets Plus.

Version 1.5.122

What's new

Plus now comes in a family size. You pay once, and up to 6 accounts get Plus: you and 5 others. Each person keeps their own private account and lists. Nobody sees a list that wasn't shared with them.

The same update brought a new rule for shared lists: a list counts as Plus if anyone on it has Plus. So if your partner subscribes, the grocery list you share no longer stops at 30 items.

Why it matters

“Add milk” shouldn't end with a “this list is full” message. Instead of everyone in the house paying separately, one payment covers all of you. And if you switch or cancel a plan, nothing gets deleted.

How to start

  1. On the Plus screen in the app, pick “My family”.
  2. After you subscribe, go to Settings › My family and tap “Invite”.
  3. Send the link (justlistapp.com/f/…) or show the QR code. Each invite works once, lasts 7 days, and can be canceled.
  4. The person you invited opens it in the app and joins.

Good to know

  • Already paying for Plus yourself? You can still join. The app reminds you that you can cancel your own subscription, but it never cancels it for you.
  • Removing someone, or leaving, takes effect right away. Their lists stay theirs.
  • If the plan owner cancels, the whole family keeps Plus until the end of the paid period.
  • Event guests aren't family members and never take a seat.
  • Prices: $5.99/month or $37.49/year, same on both stores. Only the annual plan has a 7-day free trial.
  • Plus Family is sold in the Android and iPhone apps only. The website sells regular Plus.
