Plus

What do you get with Just List Plus and Plus Family, and how does the family invite work?

Plus unlocks unlimited lists, items and events, Justy as often as you ask, and 30 snaps a day. Plus Family is the same Plus for up to 6 accounts on one payment, with invites by link or QR code.

How to do it

  1. Pick a plan

On the Plus screen in the app, choose "Just me" or "My family", monthly or annual. Annual plans start with a 7-day free trial.

  2. Open family settings

Once you're on Plus Family, go to Settings and open "My family".

  3. Invite by link or QR code

Send an invite link (justlistapp.com/f/ followed by a code) or show the QR code. Each invite is for one person, lasts 7 days and can be revoked.

  4. Your people join

Whoever gets the invite opens it in the app and joins. They keep their own private account and lists.

Just List Plus gives you unlimited lists, items and events, Justy as often as you ask, and 30 snaps a day. Plus Family is the same Plus for the whole household: one payment covers up to 6 accounts, and everyone keeps their own private account.

What you get with Plus

  • Unlimited active lists and items.
  • Unlimited events.
  • Justy answers as often as you ask.
  • 30 list snaps a day.
  • Every Event theme, free.
  • Credits every month.
  • And you're supporting a small indie team 🦊

One more thing worth knowing: a shared list counts as Plus if anyone on it has Plus. So if you have Plus, the people you share a list with don't hit the 30-item cap on that list either.

What Plus Family is

The same Plus, for the whole household: the owner and 5 others, 6 accounts in total, on one payment.

  • Everyone keeps their privacy. Each person has a private account and their own lists. You share only what you want to.
  • Invite by link or QR. In Settings, under "My family", create an invite and send the link (justlistapp.com/f/ followed by a code) or show the QR code. Each invite is for one person, lasts 7 days and can be revoked. The person you invite opens it in the app.
  • Someone already has their own Plus? They can still join. The app tells them they may cancel their own subscription, but it never cancels it for them.
  • Canceling: if the owner cancels, everyone keeps Plus until the end of the paid period. Removing someone, or leaving, takes effect right away, and their lists stay theirs.
  • Event guests never count as family members.

Plus Family is sold in the apps only (Android and iPhone). On the Plus screen, choose "My family".

FAQ

How much does it cost?

Plus is $3.99/month or $24.99/year. Plus Family is $5.99/month or $37.49/year. Same prices on the App Store, Google Play and (for Plus) the web.

Is there a free trial?

Yes, 7 days free, on annual plans only: Plus annual and Plus Family annual in both stores, and Plus annual on the web. Monthly plans have no trial.

Can my family see my lists?

No. Everyone in the family keeps a private account and their own lists. They only see lists you choose to share with them.

Someone in my family already pays for Plus. What happens?

They can still join. The app tells them they can cancel their own subscription, but it never cancels it for them. That part is up to them.

What happens if Plus Family is canceled?

If the owner cancels, everyone keeps Plus until the end of the paid period. If the owner removes someone, or someone leaves, it takes effect right away, and their lists stay theirs.

Do I need Plus for events and guests?

No. Event lists have no item limit on any plan, and guests never need an account. Free accounts can have up to 10 active events; Plus makes that unlimited.

Just List (justlistapp.com) is a list and reminders app for iOS, Android and web where Justy the fox writes your list from one sentence, guests claim what they bring from a link with no app or account, shared lists sync live, and reminders ring where you are.
