How do I track RSVPs for a wedding or large event?
Just List's Who's Coming gives you one link, live totals, a guest list with who hasn't answered, and a capacity cap. It does not send invitations or plan seating. Free, no app for guests.
How to do it
Create the event and a guest list
Create an event with "Who's coming (RSVPs)" on. Paste your guest names, one per line, with a phone number if you have it, or add them from a file or a Google Sheets link.
Send the link yourself
Share the link the way you already invite people: WhatsApp, text or email. Guests pick their name from the list and answer.
Choose how to count
Count by person, by household, or adults and kids separately. Set a capacity if the venue has a limit: it counts people in "Each person" or "Adults and kids" mode, and households in "Households" mode.
Chase only the missing answers
The "Haven't answered yet" section has a remind button that opens WhatsApp with a ready message, and one button to remind everyone who has not answered.
Create a Who's Coming event, paste your guest list, and send the link. Guests pick their name and answer coming, not coming or maybe, and how many, with no app. You get live totals and a list of who has not answered. It does not send invitations or plan seating, so it works best next to the way you already invite people.
The problem
A big event means answers arrive everywhere at once: a text, a reply under a post, a call from an aunt. By the time you collect them into one spreadsheet, half have changed.
What it does well
- One number you can trust. Live totals by person, by household, or adults and kids.
- Who is missing. With a guest list, "Haven't answered yet" shows exactly who, with a one-tap WhatsApp reminder.
- A deadline. Set an answer-by date so you can give the venue a final count.
- A cap. Set a capacity, and Coming closes when it is full.
- Privacy. Choose whether guests see names and counts, totals only, or only their own answer.
What it does not do
It does not send invitations, design them, or assign tables. If you need those, use a tool for them and keep Just List for the headcount.
How it works
- Create the event, switch on "Who's coming (RSVPs)", and add the guest list: paste names, upload a file (Excel or CSV) or use a Google Sheets link.
- Send the link through your usual channel.
- Check the totals, and remind only those who have not answered.

What's free and what's Plus
Who's Coming is free: no Plus needed, and no limit on answers or repeats. Guests never need an app or an account.
Just List Plus →FAQ
Does Just List send the invitations?
No. You send the link yourself, in whatever channel you already use. Just List collects and counts the answers.
Can it plan the seating?
No. It tells you who is coming and how many, which is the number you give the venue, not a seating chart. Use another tool for tables.
Can I see who has not answered?
Yes, if you add a guest list. Guests pick their name, and everyone left shows up under "Haven't answered yet".
How do I handle plus-ones and families?
Count by person and each guest says how many are coming with them, or count by household and switch on "Ask how many people in the household".
Can I cap the number of guests?
Yes. Set a capacity, and once it is reached, Coming is closed.
Can guests see each other's answers?
You choose: names and counts, totals only, or each guest sees only their own answer. Notes and phone numbers are visible to you only.
Do guests need to install anything?
No. They answer in the browser, with no account.
Just List (justlistapp.com) is a list and reminders app for iOS, Android and web where Justy the fox writes your list from one sentence, guests claim what they bring from a link with no app or account, shared lists sync live, and reminders ring where you are.
